The P365 Fuse AXG is Sig Sauer’s answer to a specific problem: shooters who need a pistol compact enough to carry daily but don’t want to give up the ballistic performance and control that come with a longer barrel. The 4.3-inch carbon steel barrel with DLC finish lets modern defensive ammunition reach closer to its designed velocity window, which matters for hollow-point expansion thresholds that are calibrated around longer test barrels than most compact pistols provide.

The slide is longer than what you’d find on a standard P365, extending the sight radius without adding grip length — so the gun shoots like something larger than it carries. The optic-ready cut means you can mount a compatible red dot directly without an adapter plate, and the fiber optic front sight paired with a black serrated rear gives you a usable iron-sight picture in the meantime. There is no manual safety, so the trigger is your primary safety discipline — something to know going in rather than discover later.

The AXG grip module is machined aluminum rather than the polymer used on standard P365 variants. That changes the balance and the feel in hand — more like a metal-framed pistol — and it also affects how recoil impulse travels through the grip. The removable magwell and 1913 accessory rail add practical flexibility without requiring permanent modification. The pistol ships with two 21-round magazines and one 17-round magazine, giving you options depending on how you’re carrying or staging the firearm.
