Description

The Sig Sauer Echo CV25 is a thermal clip-on designed to sit in front of an existing daytime optic, converting it into a thermal-capable system without displacing your zero or requiring a separate dedicated thermal rifle scope. That distinction matters: because the device mounts ahead of the objective lens and passes its image through your existing optic’s eyepiece, you retain the reticle, adjustment turrets, and eye relief you already trust. Collimation — aligning the thermal image with your day-optic zero — is handled through the BDX 2.0 app, which lets you shift the displayed image digitally until it matches your established point of impact, no mechanical adjustment required.

The thermal core runs a 640×512 resolution sensor at a 12-micron pixel pitch with 50Hz refresh, which keeps moving targets from smearing across the frame. Sensitivity is rated at 20mK, meaning the sensor can resolve very small temperature differences in the scene — useful when an animal or target offers only marginal contrast against its background. The magnification range of 1X through 8X means the device works equally at close quarters scanning and at extended distances where you need to pull in detail. At 1X it adds no magnification penalty to the host optic; dialing up digitally trades field of view for the ability to identify heat signatures at range.

The housing carries an IP67 waterproof rating, which covers submersion in up to one meter of water, and the unit ships with two 18650 lithium-ion cells and a USB-C charging cable so you are not dependent on a proprietary charging cradle. The included quick-disconnect mount allows the device to be removed and re-attached without losing collimation, making it practical to share between rifles or to strip off during daylight hours.
