Description
The SIG Sauer P365 Custom Works Fire Control Unit is the logical starting point for a shooter who wants to build or significantly reconfigure a P365 pistol around a specific purpose — a carry setup, a competition build, or a dedicated range gun — without being locked into the configuration of a factory-complete pistol. Because the P365 platform is built around its serialized fire control unit, this single component is the foundation on which caliber, barrel length, grip module, and slide assembly decisions all rest. Swapping any of those elements at home becomes straightforward when you start from the FCU rather than a complete gun.
This Custom Works variant ships with a flat-face trigger rather than the standard curved unit. The distinction matters practically: a flat trigger face changes the geometry of where your finger contacts the shoe through the pull, which can reduce the perceived arc of movement and give shooters with a consistent trigger technique a more repeatable break point. It is not a shortcut to better accuracy, but it does reward a deliberate and well-practiced grip.
The FCU is finished in Black Titanium Nitride, a surface treatment applied to the steel construction that adds corrosion resistance without adding meaningful thickness — relevant on a component this tightly toleranced. There is no manual thumb safety on this unit, so the shooter’s trigger discipline carries the full weight of safe handling. This variant accepts P365 frames and slide assemblies chambered in 9mm or .380 ACP, giving meaningful flexibility in how the finished build is ultimately configured.
