The 3.8-inch match-grade bull barrel uses a 35/35-degree reverse target crown, a geometry chosen to protect the rifling at the muzzle and to center the escaping gas symmetrically around the bullet’s exit point, which reduces the tendency for muzzle movement at the shot. The all-metal alloy frame and stainless steel slide contribute to a weight that helps manage recoil without the felt sharpness of a lighter polymer-framed pistol, a meaningful trade-off when shooting high-round-count range sessions.
