Description
The P226X Legion is built for the shooter who has outgrown standard-issue pistols and wants a full-size DA/SA that performs at the range without requiring aftermarket work to get there. It ships with three 18-round steel magazines, which means you spend less time reloading during extended practice sessions and have immediate spares for competition or duty use.
The double-action/single-action trigger arrangement gives you a longer, heavier first pull from a fully lowered hammer — which suits holstered carry where a deliberate pull is a safety feature — and then a shorter, lighter single-action break for every subsequent shot. That mechanical trade-off rewards deliberate shooting habits and tends to encourage better trigger discipline over time compared to striker-fired designs where every pull feels identical.
X-Ray3 day/night sights use a tritium front post paired with a photoluminescent outline, so the sight picture shifts naturally between lit and low-light environments without switching between two separate visual references. The barrel is finished in black against the Legion Gray Cerakote frame and slide, giving you a clear visual contrast at the muzzle end when indexing quickly. An optic-ready cut on the slide means you can mount a red dot without sending the pistol out for milling, keeping the platform adaptable as your setup evolves. The G-10 grip panels provide a textured, non-slip surface that holds up to sweat and weather without requiring a grip tape addition.
If you are moving from a standard P226 to this platform, the X-Series slide serrations extend further toward the muzzle, which makes press-checks and emergency manipulations more positive under stress.
