Description
The P226X Legion RXSL is built for shooters who want a competition-grade DA/SA pistol that is genuinely ready to use at the range or in a duty role without a parts list of upgrades to work through first. It draws its architecture from the X-Five Legion competition platform, and the practical result is a full-size metal-frame pistol with a significantly different feel than a standard P226.
The match-grade bull barrel adds mass forward of the frame, which shifts the balance point and reduces muzzle rise during rapid follow-up shots — a meaningful trade-off if you are running the gun hard rather than just punching paper slowly. The 35-degree reverse target crown is a deliberate protection choice: it keeps the rifling from damage at the muzzle and maintains consistent projectile exit even after extended use.
The AX2 trigger is one of the more significant differentiators here. Unlike DA/SA triggers that allow only over-travel adjustment, the AX2 lets you tune both pre-travel and over-travel independently, which means you can dial in the break point to match your grip and trigger-finger length rather than adapting to a fixed factory geometry.
The ROMEOX Pro SIG-LOC red dot comes factory-installed and co-witnesses with the X-Ray3 day/night backup sights, so you have a functional tritium reference if the optic is obstructed or fails in low light. The slide is also cut to accept other common optic footprints, so the factory optic is a starting point rather than a permanent commitment.
The alloy frame wears an undercut trigger guard and aggressive front strap checkering, both of which allow a higher, more consistent grip. Three 18-round steel magazines are included, and the platform accepts X-Five series parts for shooters who want to push customization further.
