Description
The P322 is built for shooters who want a capable, full-featured rimfire pistol — whether that means regular range work, training at a lower cost per round, or introducing newer shooters to a handgun with genuine controls and ergonomics rather than a scaled-down substitute. SIG Sauer designed and manufactured it in New Hampshire, using a steel and polymer construction that keeps weight manageable without sacrificing the feel of a serious pistol.
Single-action operation means the trigger breaks cleanly with a short, consistent pull every time, which rewards deliberate technique and makes it a reasonable tool for building trigger discipline that transfers to centerfire single-action platforms. Two interchangeable triggers — one flat, one curved — ship with the pistol, letting the shooter dial in the feel that suits their grip and hand geometry rather than adapting to a fixed geometry.
The rear sight plate is removable and optic-ready, accepting a ROMEOZero red dot without adapter plates. That matters because adapter solutions introduce stack height and can shift the dot away from a natural presentation. The fiber optic front and rear sights remain fully functional without an optic mounted, giving the shooter a fast, usable iron sight picture out of the box. Controls are fully ambidextrous, which makes the pistol workable for left-handed shooters without modification. Two magazines are included.
