The slide integrates an expansion chamber directly ahead of the chamber, a geometry change that redirects gas energy to help keep the muzzle flat through the firing cycle. The practical result is that follow-up shots require less correction between breaks rather than more trigger discipline to compensate for flip. Lightening cuts in the slide reduce reciprocating mass, which works in the same direction — less mass moving rearward means the sight picture recovers sooner. The DH3 serrations are shaped for purchase at multiple grip angles, which matters when your hands are moving quickly or not perfectly dry.

The ROMEO-X SIG-LOC Compact ships factory-mounted and co-witnesses with the X-RAY3 Day/Night sights, so you are not choosing between the dot and irons — both are in the system from the start. The optic runs on a side-loading CR1632 battery and includes MOTAC, which activates illumination when the pistol moves and idles it when stationary, preserving runtime passively. Housing is CNC-machined 7075 aluminum.
