The central engineering choice here is the expansion chamber machined directly into the slide ahead of the muzzle. The flat-faced, striker-fired trigger is the same design SIG developed for the P365-XF DH3 Daniel Horner competition pistol — the FUSE COMP is effectively that platform brought into standard production with a Nitron slide finish and FUSE-pattern serrations. The aggressive serration cuts are designed to give positive grip during press checks and malfunction clearing regardless of hand condition.

The fixed night sights are X-RAY3 day/night irons, and they co-witness with the factory-mounted ROMEO-X SIG-LOC Compact optic at standard height. That optic mounts from underneath the slide through SIG’s SIG-LOC interface, which keeps the sight line low and eliminates the adapter plates and fitment guesswork that come with aftermarket optic cuts. The enclosed emitter design resists debris and fouling during carry, and the side-mounted battery compartment allows cell replacement without disturbing zero. A 21-round magazine ships with the pistol alongside a flush 17-rounder, giving the shooter options depending on context.
