Description
The P365XL Comp in .380 ACP is built for shooters who want a serious everyday-carry pistol that is genuinely easier to shoot fast — not a compromise pistol dressed up with marketing language. The two-port expansion chamber machined directly into the forward slide redirects propellant gas upward during the firing cycle, reducing muzzle rise without adding any length to the package. That matters on a carry gun because you are not trading concealability for shootability.
The .380 ACP chambering already produces a lighter recoil impulse than comparable 9mm micro-compacts. The integrated compensator compounds that advantage, so rapid follow-up shots require less effort to bring the sights back on target. For anyone who finds small, lightweight pistols punishing to shoot in volume, this combination addresses the problem at the mechanical level rather than asking the shooter to simply tolerate it.
The XSeries grip module positions the hand high on the frame via an extended beavertail, which keeps the bore axis low and consistent shot to shot. The SIG-LOC optic-ready slide accepts ROMEOZero and RMSc-footprint red dots without adapter plates, and the X-RAY3 tritium night sights function independently whether or not a dot is mounted — so the pistol is a capable carry option straight out of the box and stays that way if you add an optic later. The flat XSeries trigger and extended slide catch lever are carry-over controls from the broader XL platform, maintaining a consistent manual of arms across the P365 family. This variant ships with two flush 10-round steel magazines and fits standard P365 holsters.
