Description
The P365X is built around a single, well-defined purpose: a pistol small enough to carry every day but capable enough that you don’t feel undergunned doing it. Sig Sauer took the original P365 platform and stretched the grip module to the XSeries format, which lengthens the grip enough to get a full four-finger purchase without adding meaningful bulk to the overall package. That change makes a real difference in shootability for anyone who found the standard P365 grip too abbreviated for consistent recoil management.
The XSeries flat trigger is a deliberate design choice rather than an aesthetic one. Breaking at 90 degrees rather than on an arc, it gives a more consistent finger placement shot to shot, which tends to tighten groups for shooters who run a high grip and a straight trigger finger. The striker-fired action keeps the manual steps at the draw simple — there is no external hammer to snag and no manual safety to disengage under stress, which suits a carry role where the holster provides the retention and mechanical safety function.
The slide comes optic-ready, machined to accept the Sig ROMEOZero and RMSc-footprint optics without requiring gunsmith work. Rather than leaving you with an exposed cut and no sighting system, Sig fits XRAY3 day/night sights — tritium front, photoluminescent ring — so the pistol is immediately usable and remains sighted even if you run it without an optic. The Nitron finish on the slide is Sig’s corrosion-resistant surface treatment, chosen specifically for duty and carry environments where the gun sees daily contact, sweat, and holster wear. Two 10-round steel magazines are included.
