Description
The Safariland 7371 7TS ALS is built for concealed outside-the-waistband carry of the Glock 48 — a combination that suits anyone who wants a slimline pistol paired with a holster that doesn’t fight you on the draw. The 7371’s core retention mechanism is the Automatic Locking System: the pistol locks positively the moment it seats, with no manual step required. To draw, a thumb swipe across the release as you establish your grip deactivates the lock, so the motion integrates into your natural draw stroke rather than interrupting it.
The shell is molded from SafariSeven, Safariland’s proprietary nylon blend, which matters for two reasons. First, it won’t abrade or discolor a pistol’s finish the way harder materials can over time. Second, the interior uses raised stand-off surfaces rather than full contact, so dirt and moisture have paths to clear the pistol rather than being trapped between the gun and the holster wall. The material also handles temperature extremes without warping or becoming brittle.
Attachment is handled by the 571BL injection-molded micro paddle, which is designed to sit close to the body — useful when the goal is a low profile under a cover garment. The paddle accommodates belt widths from 1.5 to 1.75 inches, which covers most standard carry belts, and it goes on and off without tools. The holster is cut specifically for the Glock 48 in a right-hand configuration, with no optic or light provision — keeping the overall package narrow and the fit precise.
