The Safariland INCOG-X is an inside-the-waistband holster built for concealed carry of the Glock 17 and Glock 19, developed through a collaboration between Safariland and Haley Strategic. That partnership shaped a design oriented toward practical, everyday carry rather than range-only use, with an emphasis on how the holster rides and how quickly the draw can be completed under realistic conditions.

The shell is constructed from Boltaron, a thermoplastic that holds its shape under body heat and maintains consistent retention geometry over time — important for a holster that spends hours pressed against the body. The interior is wrapped in microfiber suede, which reduces the noise of the draw stroke and protects the firearm’s finish during daily wear. The M81 Woodland pattern on this variant is a direct application of the classic four-color camouflage, not a generic printed fabric, and it runs through the Boltaron itself rather than being a removable cover.

The integrated magazine caddy is built into the holster system rather than added as a separate attachment, which keeps the overall footprint on the belt tighter and reduces the number of mounting points the carrier has to manage. The right-hand configuration positions the magazine pouch to the shooter’s dominant-side draw.
