Description
The Safariland INCOG-X is an inside-the-waistband holster developed through a collaboration with Haley Strategic, built specifically for concealed carry of the Glock 43X and 48. It is aimed at carriers who want a purpose-designed IWB solution rather than a generic shell — the kind of person who thinks about draw stroke consistency and all-day wearability as practical problems rather than theoretical ones.
The shell is Boltaron wrapped in microfiber suede. Boltaron is a thermoplastic that holds its shape under heat and pressure better than kydex alone, while the suede wrap softens the material that contacts skin and fabric, reducing both abrasion and printing. Passive retention is the default mechanism, with adjustable tension so the draw weight can be dialed to match the carrier’s preference without tools or additional hardware.
The integrated magazine caddy is built into the holster body rather than clipped on separately, which keeps the overall footprint compact and eliminates the shift and rattle that a separate attached caddy can introduce. The clip strut shims — three sizes are included — let the carrier adjust ride height and cant, which directly affects how the grip presents during the draw and how well the package disappears under a cover garment. The Multicam finish on this variant refers to the pattern applied to the shell itself, consistent with the INCOG-X lineup’s approach to visual signature reduction in field environments. Right-hand orientation is fixed on this model.
