The Safariland INCOG-X is an inside-the-waistband holster built for concealed carriers running a Springfield Hellcat Pro with a compact weapon light and red dot sight. It is designed around the reality that a light-bearing, optic-equipped pistol is a meaningfully different shape than a bare gun, and most IWB holsters are not cut to accommodate both additions at once. The body is Boltaron — a thermoplastic similar in rigidity to Kydex but with slightly different flex characteristics — wrapped in a microfiber suede liner that sits against clothing and skin. That combination addresses the two most common complaints about hard-shell IWB holsters: edge bite on the draw stroke and fabric wear over extended carry. The suede does the comfort work while the Boltaron shell maintains the structural rigidity needed for consistent one-handed holstering.

Retention is passive, meaning the gun locks in through friction and shell fit rather than a mechanical locking device. Adjustable tension lets the carrier dial the draw resistance to personal preference without tools or major disassembly. Three sizes of over-the-belt polymer clips are included — 1/8″, 1/4″, and 3/8″ — so the holster can be positioned at different ride heights and cant angles depending on body type and carry position. The clips open outward and slide down to lock over the belt, which keeps the holster from riding up during the draw. The profile is cut low enough to allow a full firing grip on the pistol before it clears the holster body, which matters for draw speed and control under stress.
