Description

The Strike Industries Extended Magazine Plate in FDE is a straightforward upgrade for shooters who want more rounds available between reloads on a Glock 19, whether at a competition or during an extended range session. The plate adds five rounds to a standard Glock 19 OEM double-stack magazine, bringing a fully loaded magazine to twenty rounds of 9mm without requiring any modification to the firearm itself.

The body is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum rather than polymer, which matters for two reasons: the material resists deformation under the compressive load of a fully compressed magazine spring, and the aluminum locking plate that ships with it provides a more positive retention interface than a standard factory basepad. The geometry is designed with a low-snag profile, meaning the extended portion tapers and angles in a way that does not catch on a holster or gear during a draw or reload — a meaningful consideration when the magazine is protruding further than the factory basepad.
