Description
The factory CZ Scorpion EVO charging handle is a small, stubby hook that works adequately on a clean gun at a relaxed pace but becomes a liability the moment you add gloves, a rail-mounted light, or any real urgency to the manipulation. Strike Industries designed this medium-length replacement to solve that specific problem without overbuilding the solution.
The extended profile gives your index finger or off-hand a genuine purchase on the handle rather than a pinch grip, which matters when the top Picatinny rail is close enough to the original handle to catch knuckles. The additional length also clears common rail accessories — a side-mounted weapon light in particular — so you are not working around your own hardware every time you cycle the action. Rounded edges on the body reduce the chance of the handle snagging on gear or a holster during a press or draw.
Construction is nylon-reinforced polymer throughout, which keeps weight negligible and cost low. For a range gun, a home-defense carbine, or a competition Scorpion running semi-auto, that material is a practical choice. The handle retains the factory ambidextrous function and non-reciprocating behavior, so nothing about the manual of arms changes — only the surface area available to work with. Installation follows the standard CZ procedure: the factory handle pulls off, this one seats in its place using the original cocking handle spring, which is included. No fitting, no tools beyond what the CZ manual already calls for. Compatible with all CZ Scorpion EVO variants, including the EVO 3 and 3+.
