Description

The Strike Industries SMC (Strike Modular Chassis) is built for Ruger 10/22 owners who want to move past the factory stock and build a more purposeful rimfire platform. It suits target shooters, trainers, and anyone who wants a modern, accessory-ready layout without sourcing a collection of mismatched parts to get there.

The chassis is machined from 6061 aluminum as a single main body, which means there is no flex between joined sections — the action sits in a rigid bed that keeps your point of impact consistent as conditions change. A second piece extends the handguard forward, adding ARCA rail length and M-LOK attachment points for bipods, lights, or grips. If you want to run the rifle lighter, you can drop the extension entirely and lose the extra length without affecting function. The ARCA rail integration matters here because it lets you mount a rail-clamp bipod or bag rider without adding a separate adapter, keeping the profile clean and the attachment more secure than a standard Picatinny-to-ARCA solution.

The chassis accepts Mil-Spec AR-15 pistol grips — without a beavertail — so you can use hardware you may already own or choose from a wide selection of aftermarket grips to dial in angle and texture for your hand. Steel anti-rotate QD sockets are built into the chassis, giving you a fixed sling attachment point that will not loosen under load the way polymer inserts can. An ambidextrous thumb rest, built-in barricade stop, and flared magwell round out the ergonomic package, each addressing a specific handling situation rather than being decorative.
