Description

The SureFire Warden is a blast regulator built for shooters who train or compete alongside others and want to keep the concussive pressure of each shot directed forward rather than pushing it laterally into the space occupied by a spotter, partner, or adjacent shooter. It works by channeling the expelled gas through a diffuser that funnels everything out the muzzle end of the device, rather than venting to the sides the way a conventional muzzle brake does. That directional control also reduces the dust signature that kicks up when firing from a prone or low position, which matters both on a range and in the field.

The body is precision-machined from stainless steel, then heat treated and finished in Cerakote for durability and corrosion resistance. The result is a muzzle device that holds up to sustained use without the coating flaking or the steel corroding under fouling. It threads directly onto a 1/2-28 barrel — no mount, adapter, or intermediate device required — which keeps the installation straightforward and the fit secure. At 3.0 inches long and 6.1 ounces, it adds enough mass to the muzzle to have some stabilizing effect without meaningfully shifting the balance of a standard rifle.

The Warden is not a sound suppressor and does not claim to be one. What it does offer is a measurable reduction in the side-directed overpressure that makes shooting alongside others unpleasant and, over a long session, fatiguing. It also serves as thread protection when no other muzzle device is installed. Designed and manufactured in the United States by SureFire.
