The TriggerTech Adaptable is a drop-in two-stage trigger built for AR-15 shooters who need one unit to perform reliably across different roles — competition, precision work, hunting, and hard-use field conditions. The two-stage action is designed around what TriggerTech calls a 1911-style feel: a defined first stage of 0.75 lbs takes up slack and gives you a clear wall, then the second stage breaks cleanly. That wall-to-break sequence rewards deliberate shooting without punishing speed.

What separates this model from a fixed-weight trigger is the CLKR Technology adjustment system. Pull weight across the second stage runs from 1.75 to 4.25 lbs, putting total pull between 2.5 and 5.0 lbs, and the adjustment is made via a set screw accessible from the top of the housing with the trigger already installed in the rifle — no disassembly required between range sessions if you want to walk the weight up or down. Changes happen in 2 oz increments, so the adjustment is repeatable rather than approximate.

Frictionless Release Technology eliminates the sliding contact surfaces that cause creep in conventional designs. Measured creep is 0.000″, overtravel is under 0.015″, and reset is under 0.030″ with a firm, tactile return — characteristics that matter most when calling your shot or running the rifle quickly. Internal components are 440C stainless steel, and the housing is 7075 aluminum.
