The TriggerTech Adaptable Single-Stage is built for shooters who want a crisp, adjustable break in an AR-15 platform without the compromise of a traditional single-stage design. TriggerTech started with their established two-stage AR architecture and worked backward, engineering out the first stage entirely rather than simply omitting it — a distinction that matters to anyone who has felt the stack and hesitation that often comes with a conventional single-stage drop-in.
The mechanism at the core of this is TriggerTech’s Zero-Creep system: a free-floating roller sits captured between the sear and the disconnector, physically preventing any pre-travel movement before the break. The result is a wall that is genuinely stationary, not just short. Overtravel is stopped in under 0.015 inches, and reset returns in under 0.030 inches with a tactile mid-force bump that is easy to read without looking away from a target. Because the pull weight is adjusted via an internal set screw using a hex wrench — CLKR Technology, in TriggerTech’s terminology — and that adjustment is mechanically isolated from the hammer-fall geometry, the hammer strike force remains unchanged across the entire adjustment range. That matters for primer reliability when running lighter pull weights.
The housing is machined from 7075 aluminum, and the key internal components are 440C stainless steel finished in PVD Black — Physical Vapour Deposition, a hard coating bonded to the surface rather than applied over it. The trigger lever is a Pro Curved profile. Installation uses standard mil-spec 0.154-inch trigger pins, which are not included. Fits AR-15 receivers using standard pin spacing.
