The TriggerTech Adaptable Single-Stage is built for AR-15 shooters who want a consistent, adjustable pull without sacrificing the reliability demanded by competition, duty, or hunting applications. It fits the full range of intended roles precisely because the pull weight is tunable from 2.5 to 5.0 lbs using an internal set screw, letting the same trigger serve a precision long-range build at a lighter setting and a defensive or hard-use rifle at a heavier one — without any tools beyond a hex key inserted from the top of the housing.

The core of the design is TriggerTech’s Frictionless Release Technology, which replaces the sliding sear surfaces found in conventional mil-spec triggers with a rotating engagement. That mechanical shift eliminates the creep inherent to a sliding sear contact, producing a wall-to-break feel rather than the gradual take-up most factory triggers exhibit. Overtravel is kept below 0.015 inches and reset comes in under 0.030 inches with a tactile mid-force return — short enough for fast follow-up work, and defined enough to confirm reset by feel rather than requiring the shooter to ride the trigger forward.

CLKR Technology governs the adjustment mechanism specifically: pull weight changes are made in discrete, detented increments rather than a free-turning screw, so settings are repeatable and won’t drift under recoil. Critically, altering the pull weight does not reduce hammer strike force, which matters when running hard primers or in cold-weather conditions where ignition reliability is already stressed.

The housing is machined from 7075 aluminum with 440C stainless steel components, and the external surfaces carry a PVD Black finish — a Physical Vapor Deposition coating applied directly to the stainless steel for hardness and color retention rather than painted or anodized over softer material. It fits standard 0.154-inch mil-spec trigger pins, making installation straightforward in any standard AR-15 lower.
