The TriggerTech Special is a drop-in replacement trigger designed for the Remington 700 platform, aimed at precision shooters, competitors, and hunters who want a cleaner, more consistent break than the factory unit provides without moving to a gunsmith-fit solution. It fits right-hand actions and uses a curved lever in a PVD Black finish — Physical Vapour Deposition, a hard coating applied directly to the external stainless components for durability and a uniform black appearance that holds up to field conditions.

The pull weight adjusts continuously between 1.0 and 3.5 pounds using a hex key from underneath the housing, so you can dial it to suit a dedicated bench gun or back it off slightly for a hunting rifle that still sees gloved hands and cold mornings. The single-stage design means there is one deliberate wall and then the break — no take-up stage to manage, which suits shooters who prefer to stage the trigger themselves rather than rely on a mechanism to do it.
