TIMNEY TRIG FITS RUG 10/22(BLK SHOE)

Description

The Ruger 10/22 is one of the most widely owned rimfire rifles in the country, and its factory trigger is the component most likely to hold back an otherwise capable platform. This Timney drop-in assembly addresses that directly. The trigger, sear, and hammer are wire EDM cut from heat-treated steel, a process that produces very consistent geometry across parts — which matters because consistent geometry is what gives you a consistent break shot to shot. The housing is CNC machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum, keeping overall weight down without sacrificing rigidity.

The assembly installs as a complete unit, replacing the factory trigger group without permanent modification to the receiver. That means no fitting, no stoning, and no guesswork about how individual components interact — the geometry is already set at the factory. An extended magazine release lever is included and provides more surface area than the factory component, which is a practical improvement for anyone running the rifle under time pressure or wearing gloves.

The pull weight is set at 2¾ pounds, which is light enough to reduce the effort needed to break the shot cleanly but not so light that it becomes a liability in field use. The trigger shoe is black; the housing on this variant is also black. Compatibility covers the full range of standard 10/22 configurations including the Carbine, Sporter, Compact, Tactical, Takedown, and the 50th Anniversary model, so fitment concerns are minimal if you are running a factory-receiver rifle.
