The core of the Special is TriggerTech’s Frictionless Release Technology, which removes the sliding friction contact found in conventional sear designs. Because the engagement surfaces don’t rely on friction to hold or release, the break stays consistent across thousands of rounds without the gradual change in feel that comes with wear or lubricant burn-off.
