Description
The Unity Tactical FAST AEMS Mount is built for shooters running a Holosun AEMS optic who want to move the sight up to a 2.26-inch centerline height. That extra elevation lets you index the optic with your head in a natural, upright position rather than forcing a chin-to-stock weld — a posture that pays off when you are wearing electronic hearing protection, a communication headset, night vision, or a gas mask, all of which stack height between your eye and the stock. The result is faster target acquisition without having to compromise your head position or remove gear to get behind the optic.
The mount clamps to a Picatinny rail using a two-bolt cross-bolt system, which distributes clamping force evenly and keeps zero through hard use. For shooters who need to pull the optic off in the field, the mount is compatible with Unity’s FAST QD lever — that lever is sold separately, so the standard package ships with the bolt-down clamp arrangement. Machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished in a hardcoat anodize, the mount keeps weight well under four ounces while standing up to the kind of handling and environmental exposure that tactical use puts on accessory hardware. The Flat Dark Earth anodize — Unity’s designation, not a generic tan — pairs cleanly with FDE-finished rifles and handguards without standing out in field conditions.
Installation is straightforward and requires no permanent modification to the host rifle. If you are already running an AEMS and want to get more out of the platform ergonomically, this mount addresses the one shortcoming of mounting any optic at standard height: it simply puts the glass where your eye wants to be.
