Description

The Unity Tactical FAST MicroPrism mount exists to solve a specific geometry problem: standard optic heights force your head down into an unnatural cheek weld, which slows your transition from a ready position to a sight picture. By raising the optical centerline to 2.26 inches, this mount lets you look straight through the optic with your head up and your spine in a neutral position, the way you would actually hold your head while scanning a scene. That posture translates directly into faster initial acquisition because you are not dropping your face to find the eyepiece.

The geometry is particularly relevant when you are wearing equipment that physically prevents a low cheek weld. Night vision gear, large-cup hearing protection, and tactical respirators all push your face away from the stock. At a standard mount height, that interference means you are guessing at your sight picture; at 2.26 inches, the optic meets your eye where your head naturally sits against whatever you are wearing.

The mount is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, an alloy chosen for a favorable strength-to-weight ratio, and finished with a Type III hardcoat anodize that resists abrasion without adding meaningful thickness. The two-bolt Picatinny clamp is compatible with the FAST QD Lever and the FAST QD Lever by ADM, so you can add tool-free removal later without replacing the mount body. The whole assembly comes in under three ounces, keeping the forward end of your rifle light enough that the added height does not become a handling liability.
