Description
Traditional flip-to-side magnifier mounts push the optic laterally off the receiver when stowed, creating a snag point on barriers, chest rigs, and door frames. The Unity Tactical FAST OMNI solves that problem by folding the magnifier downward and rearward so it sits directly over the receiver — centered on the weapon — rather than hanging off one side. That orientation keeps the rifle balanced and eliminates the profile that catches on gear.
The mechanism is built around Unity’s Flip-To-Center design, which lets the magnifier deploy straight back into the optical path rather than rotating to a side position. An integrated QD lever allows the entire mount to be removed from the rail without tools, and the auto-lock provides a positive detent at both the stowed and deployed positions. The mount raises the optical centerline to 2.25 inches above the rail — the same height used across Unity’s FAST mounting system — which is what makes it practical for shooters running plate carriers, full communication headsets, or night vision, because it produces a neutral, heads-up cheek weld rather than forcing the shooter to drop their head to find the sight picture.
The body is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished in Type III hardcoat anodizing in Flat Dark Earth. The OMNI designation reflects the broad compatibility list: the mount accepts magnifiers from EOTech, Vortex, Trijicon, Sig Sauer, and Holosun without adapters, covering most of the commonly fielded units on the market. For a shooter already running a primary optic on a FAST Micro mount, adding this magnifier mount keeps the optical centerlines matched and the system coherent.
