Description
The Unity Tactical ModButton Lite is a remote activation switch built for shooters who run Crane-pattern laser devices and want a low-profile, reliable way to control them from a Picatinny rail. It is a purpose-built companion to lasers like those from Steiner and similar Crane-interface units, giving the shooter momentary-only activation without the bulk of a full-size switch assembly.
Where the original ModButton integrates its own mount, the ModButton Lite strips that away and delivers the same momentary switch and high-power cable in a smaller, lighter package. The body is injection-molded plastic and fully potted—meaning the internal electronics are encapsulated in a hardened compound—so the switch resists moisture, dust, and the general mechanical abuse that comes with hard use on a weapon system. That construction also makes the switch genuinely repairable-proof in the field: there is nothing to loosen or admit contamination.
The 4.5-inch cable length suits shorter handguard configurations where a longer lead would create slack that needs to be managed. The switch is compatible with Unity’s LINK system and GASCAP USB-C tailcap, and its SureFire-compatible cable means it will also work with SureFire, Arisaka, and Modlite Scout-body lights—a meaningful advantage if your setup already includes any of those platforms. This variant ships in Unity Tactical’s Flat Dark Earth finish. If your build calls for a Crane laser interface and you want a switch that sits flush and out of the way, the ModButton Lite covers the requirement without adding unnecessary hardware to the rail.
