Description

The Arisaka Defense Inline Scout Mount for M-LOK handguards solves a specific problem: getting a weapon light as close to the bore axis as possible without the bulk and height penalty that comes with a standard Picatinny rail adapter. It is built for shooters running Surefire Scout M300 or M600 series lights, Streamlight ProTac Rail Mount 1 or 2, or Arisaka’s own 300 and 600 Series lights on M-LOK-compatible handguards, and it replaces the light’s factory rail adapter entirely rather than stacking on top of it.

The design pays dividends on handguards with 45-degree offset mounting flats. At that angle, the mount’s three discrete lateral positions let you shift the light 0.12 inches to either side of center, which matters when a front sight or muzzle device would otherwise block the beam or create a shadow. The base of a Surefire Scout sits only 0.2 inches above the mounting surface, keeping the light tucked tight and preserving a natural grip without a pronounced lump under the hand.

Construction is 7075-T6 aluminum with a MIL-A-8625 Type III hard coat anodize, the same specification used for mil-spec components — that finish resists wear from repeated removal and reinstallation without adding meaningful weight to a mount that comes in at 0.6 ounces. At 3.4 inches long it spans enough real estate to keep the light stable under recoil while still leaving adjacent M-LOK slots open for other accessories. All necessary attachment screws are included; installation requires a T25 Torx wrench, which is not. Made in the USA.
