Description

The Unity Tactical MRDS Top Ring for the FAST LPVO solves a real problem for shooters running a magnified optic on a carbine: getting a micro red dot into a usable position without adding a separate offset mount or cluttering the rail. This ring replaces the standard top ring on the FAST LPVO mount, placing a micro red dot at the 12 o’clock position directly above the scope tube so the shooter can transition between magnified and unmagnified views without moving the head significantly off the stock.

The ring itself does not accept an optic directly. It works in conjunction with a FAST Optic Adapter Plate, which is sold separately and comes in footprint patterns sized to specific red dot families. That modular approach means the same top ring can accommodate different optics simply by swapping the adapter plate rather than replacing the entire mount assembly. The 34mm bore diameter of this variant is sized to fit FAST LPVO scope mounts built around 34mm scope tubes, so confirming your mount’s tube diameter before ordering matters.

Construction is 7075-T6 aluminum with a Type III hardcoat anodized finish in black. The 7075-T6 alloy is a common choice for scope rings and mounts where the goal is keeping weight down without sacrificing structural integrity under recoil, and hardcoat anodizing at Type III specification provides a harder surface layer than standard anodizing, which translates to better resistance to wear at contact points. The FAST LPVO mount itself is sold separately.
