The Walker’s Firemax BT is built for shooters and working professionals who need reliable hearing protection through long days at the range, in the field, or on the job—without swapping batteries or accepting a passive muff’s trade-off of cutting off all ambient sound. The foundation is Sound Activated Compression (SAC), which reacts fast enough to clamp down on impulse noise from gunfire while allowing normal conversation and environmental sounds to pass through at a safe level between shots. Four selectable frequency modes—Universal, Clear Voice, High Frequency Boost, and Power Boost—let you tune the audio profile to your environment rather than accepting a single fixed response curve.

The housing is a rubberized, sound-dampening composite, which does two jobs: it absorbs mechanical vibration that would otherwise bleed through the shell, and it gives the exterior some grip and impact resistance for field use.
