The Walker’s Razor Walkie Talkie is built for hunters and range shooters who need to stay in communication with their team without breaking their hearing protection setup. It attaches directly to Walker’s Razor electronic earmuffs, so there is no separate radio clipped to a vest or dangling from a pocket — the unit becomes part of the muff itself.

With 22 selectable channels and 99 privacy sub-channels, you can avoid crosstalk from other groups using radios in the same area. The sub-channel system does not encrypt the signal, but it filters out transmissions on mismatched codes, which keeps your channel usable in crowded environments like public ranges or organized hunts. Communication range extends to roughly 2–3 miles, though that figure assumes open terrain with clear line of sight — broken terrain, dense timber, and elevation changes will all reduce effective range.

The radio operates in two modes: push-to-talk for deliberate transmission, and Voice Activated Transmit (VOX) for hands-free use. VOX sensitivity is adjustable, which matters in the field where wind noise or nearby conversation can otherwise trigger false transmissions. When VOX is calibrated to your environment, you can communicate without touching the unit — useful when your hands are occupied. The radio runs on AAA batteries with up to 12 hours of life, which covers a full day of hunting without needing a swap. Batteries are included.
