The Yankee Hill Machine HD 3-Lug HUB Adapter is built for shooters running a 3-lug equipped host—MP5-pattern pistols, PCCs, and similar platforms—who want a more robust quick-attach interface than a standard adapter provides. The premise is simple: the 3-lug system is fast and intuitive, but repeated hard use, particularly on full-auto hosts, puts real stress on the mounting assembly. This adapter addresses that by moving the critical mounting interface into a fully enclosed housing rather than leaving it exposed, which distributes stress more evenly and reduces wear at the locking surfaces over time.

The interface itself is machined from 17-4 PH stainless steel, a precipitation-hardened alloy chosen specifically because it maintains its hardness under the thermal cycling and mechanical shock that come with sustained fire. The Black Oxide finish on the steel keeps the assembly visually consistent with most suppressor and accessory setups without adding appreciable thickness. Thread pitch is 1-3/8″-24, which is the HUB-compatible standard, so the adapter will mate directly with any suppressor using that thread pattern—including YHM’s own R9—without an intermediate adapter.
