Description
The YHM HUB Direct Thread Mount is designed for shooters who want to run a HUB-compatible suppressor on a threaded barrel without a quick-detach mounting system. Instead of relying on a ratchet, taper, or latch mechanism, it converts the suppressor’s HUB interface to a conventional direct-thread attachment, keeping the mounting arrangement simple and low-profile.
Installation is straightforward: remove the existing mount from the suppressor’s HUB interface, thread this mount in its place using a 3/4-inch open-end wrench, and then run the suppressor directly onto the barrel’s muzzle threads. The 3/4×24 thread pitch on the barrel end suits a range of host firearms that use that pattern. Internally, the bore is sized for calibers up to .45, which covers most common pistol and rifle applications where this thread pitch appears.
YHM machines the mount from 17-4PH stainless steel and applies a Black Oxide finish. The 17-4PH alloy is a precipitation-hardened grade chosen for its combination of high tensile strength and corrosion resistance — qualities that matter when a component cycles through repeated heat and mechanical stress at the muzzle. Black Oxide keeps weight minimal while providing a degree of surface protection. At 1.7 ounces, the mount adds negligible weight to the host setup. The internal mounting threads that interface with the suppressor body are 1.375-24, which is the standard HUB specification.
This particular variant covers the 3/4×24 barrel thread pitch. YHM offers the same mount in several other thread configurations for shooters whose host firearms use different muzzle thread standards.
