Description

When you build a 9mm AR upper, the ejection port cover needs to match. A standard dust cover marked for 5.56 or left unmarked is a minor nuisance on a dedicated pistol-caliber build, but on a multi-upper setup it creates real potential for reaching for the wrong upper at the wrong time. Yankee Hill Machine’s 9mm dust cover solves that by clearly marking the port for the caliber it belongs to, keeping mixed-upper confusion off the table.

The assembly ships complete with the rod and retaining clip already installed, which removes the fiddly step of seating the small c-clip during installation. That clip is one of the more irritating parts to handle on a standard dust cover build-out, so having it pre-fitted saves time and reduces the chance of losing a small part on the bench. The spring is included as well, so there is nothing additional to source before the cover goes on the upper.

Fitment is standard AR-platform, meaning it drops onto the same ejection port hinge pin arrangement used across mil-spec upper receivers. The finish is black, which blends with the majority of AR builds.
