Description

The Nocpix MATE ULTRA S60R is a thermal clip-on system built for hunters and field professionals who want to run a quality daytime riflescope during legal shooting hours and convert it to a full thermal platform after dark—without pulling the rifle from zero. Mounted in front of an existing optic, it passes the image through at 1x magnification, so the riflescope’s own reticle and turrets remain in the firing solution exactly as they would during a daytime shot. There is no separate thermal zero to manage and no second rifle to carry.

The 60mm objective lens gathers a large thermal footprint, which directly extends the distance at which the sensor can resolve a usable heat signature. This matters most at dawn and dusk when ambient temperature differentials are narrow—conditions where smaller apertures can flatten contrast and lose target definition. The 1280×1024 sensor with ≤15mK NETD sensitivity translates that gathered energy into fine image detail, separating an animal’s core from surrounding brush rather than returning a generalized warm blob. A 60Hz shutterless refresh rate keeps moving targets from smearing during pan or target acquisition.

The integrated laser rangefinder reaches out to 1,300 yards and feeds a ballistic calculation engine that applies a direct correction to the aiming point in the display—so the point of aim shown represents the actual adjusted impact point at the measured range, not a secondary hold reference the shooter has to interpret and apply manually. The chassis is machnesium alloy, and the unit runs on standard 18650 rechargeable cells, which are widely available and can be swapped in the field without tools or proprietary hardware.
