Description

The Nocpix ACE H50 is a thermal weapon sight built for hunters and shooters who need serious detection capability from a platform that handles like a conventional daytime optic. It mounts on standard 30 mm rings and is compatible with both bolt-action and semi-automatic rifles, so there is no need to rethink your existing hardware to run it.

The 50 mm germanium objective lens gathers more infrared radiation than smaller lenses in the ACE lineup, which translates directly to detection range and image brightness at the threshold temperatures where thermal contrast starts to compress. The sensor pairs a 640×512 resolution with a 15 mK NETD rating, meaning it resolves very small temperature differences — relevant when an animal’s body heat blends with warm ground or brush in late-season conditions. That sensor output is rendered on a 2560×2560 round AMOLED display inside the eyepiece, and a 1–3x ocular magnifier works on that display optically rather than digitally. Because the magnification is applied through glass rather than interpolated by software, the image stays clean as you zoom in rather than degrading into larger pixels.

The base magnification of 3.5x comes from the combination of the objective focal length and the ocular system. Battery management is handled through a dual-system arrangement: a built-in cell charges via USB-C, and a removable 18650-format battery can be swapped in the field without powering down, effectively removing runtime as a practical constraint on long hunts. The aluminum alloy construction is tested for recoil resistance, making it suitable for centerfire rifle use.
