Description

The SilencerCo Delta Adapter is a thread conversion adapter built for Walther P-22 owners who want to run a rimfire suppressor without replacing their barrel. The Walther P-22 ships from the factory with metric threads — specifically M8x.75 — that are not compatible with the 1/2×28 pitch that the vast majority of rimfire suppressors use. This adapter bridges that gap, converting the host pistol’s metric muzzle threads to the standard 1/2×28 pattern so any rimfire suppressor threaded to that pitch can mount directly.

The o-ring engagement design serves a practical purpose beyond simple thread conversion. The o-ring creates a secondary retention point between the adapter and the suppressor, which keeps the suppressor from walking loose during sustained fire — a common problem with direct thread designs under the light, rapid impulses of .22 LR cycling. It also seats against the muzzle and helps keep those threads clean when the suppressor is not attached. SilencerCo confirms compatibility with their Switchback 22, Sparrow 22, Spectre 22, Warlock 22, and Osprey Micro 22, and the standard 1/2×28 output thread makes it usable with compatible suppressors from other manufacturers as well. The adapter is machined from steel and ships with a thread protector, so the 1/2×28 threads are protected when no suppressor is mounted.
