Description

The Safariland 6360RDS is built for duty use with optic-equipped handguns — specifically for officers and professionals who run a red dot sight on their sidearm and cannot afford a holster that treats the optic as an afterthought. The body is thermally molded from SafariLaminate, a rigid construction that maintains its shape under the conditions duty gear actually sees, while a suede interior lining keeps the handgun’s finish from being worn away during repeated draws.

Retention comes from a stacked combination of the Automatic Locking System and the Self Locking System. The ALS engages automatically the moment the handgun is holstered, securing it against movement in every direction without any action from the shooter. The SLS adds a rotating hood over the weapon. To draw, the shooter deactivates the ALS with the thumb, sweeps the hood, and pulls the firearm straight up — no rotation or canting of the gun required. That straight-up draw is significant for consistency under stress, because the motor pattern stays the same regardless of the angle your body is at when you need the weapon.

The holster ships with a QLS 19 Locking Fork, which interfaces with Safariland’s Quick Locking System platform and allows the holster body to be swapped between compatible mounting platforms without tools. Carry position is mid-ride, worn outside the waistband. The exterior is finished in STX Tactical, Safariland’s matte, textured hardshell finish suited to uniform duty wear. This variant is cut for the right hand and fitted to the SIG P211 GT with an X300 weapon light mounted.
