Description

The FC-4 G2 is Accu-Tac’s answer to the demands of F-Class long-range competition, though its design serves equally well in precision rifle sport and field hunting applications where a stable, repeatable shooting platform matters more than saving every ounce. This is a bipod built for shooters who are willing to carry some weight in exchange for a foundation that does not give ground under recoil or shift between shots.

The body is machined entirely from billet 6061-T6 aluminum with high-strength steel hardware at load-bearing points — a construction approach that keeps mass low relative to stiffness, and avoids the flex that can appear in cast or forged alternatives under sustained use. The Type III MIL-SPEC hard anodized finish in Flat Black resists corrosion and surface wear without adding meaningful thickness to contact surfaces.

Leg geometry is where this bipod earns its keep at the bench or on the line. Each leg moves independently and locks into four discrete positions between 45 and 90 degrees, which lets the shooter dial in a stance that suits the ground rather than the other way around. Five height positions give additional flexibility without requiring the shooter to compromise leg angle to reach the right elevation. The wide maximum stance, when legs are fully deployed at 90 degrees, puts a wide, low center of gravity under even large-caliber rifles — reducing the tendency for the rifle to rock or drift during the firing cycle.

Cant and pan both adjust with dedicated locking levers, so the shooter can level the rifle on uneven ground without rotating the entire mount. The Arca Swiss-compatible quick-detach clamp secures to any standard Arca or Arca-style rail and tightens without tools, making transitions between shooting positions or rifles fast and repeatable.
