Description
The Accu-Tac M-LOK Spec-5 Bipod is built for precision rifle shooters who run M-LOK handguards and need a bipod that bolts directly to the fore-end without an intervening rail section or adapter. The mount sits flush against the handguard, so nothing protrudes below the barrel line when the legs are folded — a practical advantage in any position where a dangling rail adapter would catch on gear or the ground.
The Spec-5 is engineered on the SR-5 G2 platform and trades the shorter leg geometry of the Spec-4 for additional standing height. That extra clearance matters when running rifles with large-capacity magazines, where a lower bipod would put the chassis too close to the ground and force an awkward shooting position. The legs articulate to 45 degrees as well as 90, giving you a narrower stance on flat surfaces where a wide footprint would be unnecessary, and the full 90-degree spread when you need maximum lateral stability on uneven ground.
Construction is 6061-T6 aluminum throughout the main body, with high-strength steel hardware at the stress points — a combination that keeps weight at 20.55 oz while maintaining the structural integrity that a precision rifle platform demands. The Type III MIL-SPEC hard anodize finish in Flat Black is not a paint or cerakote layer; it is an electrochemical conversion of the aluminum surface itself, which means it resists abrasion without adding meaningful thickness to mating surfaces. Mounting hardware is included.
