Description

The Alleycat 6MM is a 6 ARC suppressor built for precision rifle shooters who want a durable, full-commitment tube rather than a compromise between weight and longevity. The entire suppressor body is constructed from Inconel 718, a nickel-chromium superalloy that maintains its structural integrity under the sustained heat generated by rapid strings of fire — a meaningful advantage for a 6 ARC platform where longer, hotter strings are common. Stainless or titanium baffles can creep or fatigue under prolonged thermal stress; Inconel 718 holds its shape and dimensions across those same conditions, which means baffle geometry stays consistent and sound attenuation remains predictable over the life of the can.

The finish is DLC — diamond-like carbon — applied directly to the exterior. DLC provides a hard, low-friction surface that resists corrosion and abrasion without adding meaningful thickness, and the black color here is a product of the coating process itself rather than paint or anodizing that can chip or flake under field use.

At 6.5 inches and 1.6 inches in diameter, this is a full-size tube, and the 16-ounce weight reflects the density of Inconel 718 relative to lighter materials. That tradeoff is deliberate: builders who choose Inconel accept additional weight in exchange for a suppressor that doesn’t require the care and cool-down discipline that titanium designs sometimes demand in high-volume use.

The 1x16LH thread pitch pairs with the included Spooky 1 QD mount, which allows fast on/off without tools. The left-hand thread pattern on QD suppressors is a standard convention to counteract the tendency of a direct-thread can to walk loose in the direction of barrel rotation.
