Description
The American Defense Manufacturing B2 Modular Base is a Picatinny-mount platform built around two distinct use cases: pairing with compact 1.5x–3x Mini-ACOG optics such as the Trijicon TA33 and TA44 as a standalone mount, or serving as the lower half of ADM’s modular riser system when a different height or optic combination is needed. That modularity is the core reason to choose it over a fixed mount — the base accepts a range of ADM risers, so the same rail interface can be reconfigured as mission or optic changes without buying an entirely new mount.
The QD Auto Lock Lever is tool-free and designed to be operated with gloves on. Tension adjustment is handled without removing the mount from the rifle, which lets you dial in a consistent lockup across different Picatinny rails without needing a torque wrench or a bench. When properly set, the lever system holds the mount against the rail firmly enough that the optic returns to its previous zero after removal — a meaningful practical advantage when you need to pull the optic for transport or inspection and reinstall it without re-zeroing.
The body is precision-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in hardcoat anodize, the same material and surface treatment used across ADM’s mount line. For rifles with a raised rail or a lower stock comb, the B2’s low profile keeps a compact optic at a height appropriate for cheek weld without an added riser. On a standard AR-platform with a higher stock comb, pairing the base with one of ADM’s risers brings the optic up to a comfortable sight line. The mount is covered by American Defense Manufacturing’s lifetime warranty.
