Description

The AD-Recon-H is a one-piece cantilever scope mount built for AR-pattern rifles where a standard-height mount leaves the shooter fighting for a comfortable cheek weld or struggling to clear a laser aiming device mounted forward on the rail. The cantilever geometry shifts the optic forward of the receiver, giving you room to dial in eye relief without repositioning your body behind the rifle.

The 1.93-inch center-height measurement — taken from the top of the Picatinny rail to the centerline of the rings — is the defining characteristic of the H variant. That extra elevation clears devices like the PEQ-2 and PEQ-4 that sit ahead of the mount, and it accommodates shooters who run a higher cheek weld by preference or by necessity with a gas mask. The tradeoff is a slightly higher bore-to-sight offset, which matters at close distances and is worth accounting for when zeroing.

The rings are machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in hardcoat anodize, giving the surface genuine abrasion resistance rather than just cosmetic color. The mount attaches to any M1913 Picatinny rail using ADM’s QD Auto Lock Lever system, which can be set and adjusted without tools to match the specific rail it’s going onto. Once dialed, the lever locks positively and won’t shift under recoil. Removing and remounting the optic returns it to the same zero, which matters when the mount is being transferred between rifles or removed for storage.
