Description
The Steiner T-Series Cantilever Mount is built for shooters running AR-15 and flat-top rifles who need a one-piece solution that positions the optic forward enough to achieve proper eye relief without repositioning behind the gun. That forward offset is the whole point of a cantilever design: where a standard two-piece ring set centers the scope directly over the rail, a cantilever shifts it toward the muzzle, letting you mount naturally and quickly without crowding your face.
The mount is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum, a structural alloy chosen because it holds its shape under the repeated stress of recoil without adding meaningful weight to the rifle. The 34mm ring bore accommodates the larger tube diameters common on modern tactical and long-range optics, and the 40mm height clears most standard AR gas blocks and front iron sights without requiring a chin-weld compromise. The 25 MOA cant built into the base tilts the entire optic downward relative to the bore, which effectively extends the elevation adjustment range of the scope itself — particularly useful at longer distances where you would otherwise run out of internal adjustment before reaching your zero.
A rear-ring bubble level lets you confirm cant before the shot, which matters most when shooting at angles or transitioning between positions. The mount attaches to any Picatinny-style rail, and Steiner publishes specific torque values for both the ring top and crossbolt fasteners, giving you a defined standard to work from rather than guessing at feel. The finish is matte black. Backed by Steiner’s Heritage Warranty.
