Description

The American Defense Manufacturing AD-MRO Lightweight mount is built specifically for the Trijicon MRO, giving shooters a purpose-fit solution rather than a universal adapter that introduces unnecessary bulk or compromise. The lower 1/3 co-witness height positions your MRO so iron sights appear at the bottom of the optic’s window — they remain accessible in an emergency without dominating your sight picture under normal use, which is the practical advantage that height has over absolute co-witness for most AR-platform shooters.

The 20% weight reduction compared to the standard ADM and factory Trijicon mounts comes from precision machining out of 6061-T6 aluminum rather than using heavier stock, and the slimmer profile opens up more of the target view around the optic. At 2.2 ounces, the mount adds very little to the overall package. The Mil-Spec hard coat anodized finish provides corrosion resistance consistent with military environmental standards.

ADM’s patented QD Auto Lock Lever is the centerpiece of the system. It seats and locks without tools — a finger or flat-blade screwdriver handles any tension adjustment — and the cam geometry is designed to clamp securely on both in-spec and out-of-spec Picatinny rails. Once set, the lever snaps to the same index point each time, so the mount returns to zero reliably after removal. That repeatability matters if you’re pulling the optic for transport or swapping between platforms. The mount is made in the USA and covered by ADM’s lifetime warranty.
