Description
The American Defense Manufacturing UIC MOD 1 is a mid-length carbine built for shooters who want a professional-grade AR platform without spending time sourcing and assembling components. It suits both experienced AR owners looking for a purpose-built duty-style rifle and those who want a high-specification carbine ready to run out of the box.
The 14.5-inch barrel is pinned with an A2 flash hider to bring the overall length to 16 inches — a configuration that keeps the rifle handling like a short carbine while using a barrel long enough to preserve meaningful velocity from the 5.56 NATO chamber. That barrel length also supports a longer gas dwell time than a true short-barrel build, which tends to soften the impulse at the bolt and reduce the felt sharpness of the cycling stroke under sustained fire.
The free-float M-LOK handguard removes the traditional delta ring assembly and lets the barrel vibrate without contact from the support hand or any attached accessories — a meaningful consistency advantage for precision-oriented shooting. The Raptor-LT ambidextrous charging handle makes manipulation equally accessible from either side, which matters for support-side drills or unconventional shooting positions. An ALG ACT trigger provides a predictable, duty-appropriate pull without the creep common to mil-specoldie trigger groups.
The Midnight Bronze Cerakote finish ties the rifle together visually and offers corrosion resistance beyond bare phosphate. Magpul MOE-SL stock and MOE grip round out a package where every major component has been deliberately chosen rather than defaulted to. One 30-round magazine is included.
