The core of the design is Anechoic’s X-Baffle Anechoic Chamber System, which uses an interrupted central tube rather than a conventional straight-through bore. That interrupted path forces expanding gas to change direction repeatedly before it exits, giving the gas more time to cool and slow — the two things most responsible for the sound a suppressor produces. The geometry matters because rimfire suppressors deal with particularly dirty combustion products; a baffle stack that can be disassembled for cleaning stays effective over time in a way that a sealed unit cannot.

The body is machined from aluminum, which keeps the overall package light enough that balance on a compact rimfire pistol or carbine is not noticeably affected.
