Description

The Arisaka Defense Inline Scout Mount for Troy Alpha handguards solves a specific problem: legacy Troy and VTAC Alpha handguards use round-hole cutouts rather than a standard Picatinny rail, which leaves most conventional weapon light adapters without a solid, low-profile attachment point. This mount replaces the factory Picatinny adapter on compatible SureFire Scout Light M600 and M300 series lights, as well as Arisaka 300, 600, and 18650 Series lights, the Olight Odin, and Streamlight ProTac Rail Mount 1 and 2, indexing directly into the handguard’s round holes for a fit that pulls the light tight to the rail surface rather than stacking height on top of it.

The mount offers three lateral positions, allowing the light to sit on center or offset up to 0.12 inches to either side. That adjustment matters when clearing a front sight: running the light at the 45-degree upper positions lets you dial the exact fore-aft and lateral relationship between the light body and whatever iron sight occupies the rail. Smaller sights like the MBUS Pro and Knights Armament Micro clear cleanly on either side; larger sights such as the Troy folding or Diamondhead are more forgiving on the left 45-degree position due to the asymmetrical body of the SureFire Scout Light. The base of the light sits approximately 0.2 inches above the mounting surface, which keeps the overall profile genuinely low rather than nominally so.

Construction is CNC machined 7075-T6 aluminum with a MIL-A-8625 Type III Hard Coat Anodized finish in black. Hardware includes hex button head screws, Torx flat head screws, and a Troy backer plate. Installation requires a 1/8-inch Allen wrench and a T20 Torx or IP20 TorxPlus driver, neither of which is included. The mount is made in the USA.
